Music for Maniacs was always good for a laugh, really weird and forgotten shit there.

Looks like the blogger moved to republishing tunes on Bandcamp and a lot of the links there are dead. Fair enough I suppose. But you can still look up artists, because who could live without knowing Gravy Train and their absolute banger of a tune "Titties Bounce"? (it exists, look it up on youtube)

 

With nowday tools you can basically do what Boom Bap Labs is doing with your favorite records from obscure blogs. Obviously not for using on your compositions, because cratedigging sampling production is dead today, but it's so cool that you can study the tonal and processing characteristics of records of last century. Nice thread.
