    Michael B. Tretow , the main Sound enginer of ABBA who did nearly all recordings execpt of the last (Voyage 2021) has past away at age of 80 .
    He Introduced the famous "Abba-sound" , and was titled "the 5th member of the band" from the band itself.

    Very sad. The ABBA sound was like the ELO sound... to be honest I always found them both very thin and didn't personally like it but they're both certainly distinctive and made them ridiculous piles of cash so who am I to say! :dunno: RIP.

    I remember buying the 45RPM of Dancing Queen as a young bay just before I started playing. ABBA's sound always had a certain clarity to it. Like actually floating on cloud 9 while you got high.
