I am really not sure if I would take Komplete 9 even for free. Tons of software, but most of it is bloat. Perhaps Kontakt would be worth it, that is if I'd want crippled legit version

Really ? As far as "getting your money's worth" I always thought Komplete was unbeatable, especially for newbs

 

I love NI products. Though they make you want all their expansions, I love Maschine, Battery layered drums are awesome, Absynth (for ambiance), Massive can have some awesome synth sounds, Reaktor is really deep and alot of awesome user and third party content for it. FM8 and Guitar rig arent in my fav list, but thats just my thoughts.

I own komplete ultimate anyways.
