This guy makes money with warez, warez should be for everyone!
Especially for people who have little or no money to buy something like this.
Everyone who has the money should support the companies they like.
The guy has a few Kontakt libraries on offer that are not available on the sister site.
I was looking for these libraries and came across the Telegram channel.
Maybe we can fuck him off and take the stuff away from him...I'm not really familiar with telegram and data .... I think you know what I mean.
Maybe there is someone here who would like to take a look.

I don't disagree with you. But once something is on the internet, it's on the internet. I'm sure what you could do to take him down. If even someone pays him for the stuff not available on SS, nothing is to stop the dude continuing to sell, or setting up somewhere else. All that would be achieved in practice is giving the guy money.

 

Which Kontakt libraries were you trying to find? (not an offer) .

 

telegram is filled with these accounts. i even get ads for them on instagram lol. It is what it is, not much can be done about it.

Telegram is the most scam social media i ever used. It's filled with criminals, extortioners, embezzlers, sexual assaulters, rats and spam. You need to be on a very ruly and legalist comunnity, but in general there's where people give a f to rules. I quite honestly don't want my data available for anyone there. And as some said, very few you can do about it. Keeping myself way was the option i took for myself.

 

It's bizarre to start a moralistic topic about warez in this forum: maybe you didn't quite understand the context in which you find yourself.

Maybe not an actual new thread, but this shows up often enough. The problem people have with things like this is not the warez, but the selling of them.

I am aware of that channel. The guy who runs that channel, or is at least connected with, sells a pretty old version of my library. In the meantime I have implemented new features and finetuned a lot of aspects of it.

He also scams people by advertising that he also sells other libraries I made, but never released.

And just for your interest: the "Strings" library was my first and only library I made. It took me about 2 years of development for the "final" version I have right now, starting from scratch (learning KSP etc.). I had serious plans to start with other libraries too, such as an authentic Turkish Strings Library with real recorded articulations, portamento/legato and more, which you would not find in any other Strings Library, since in that type of music these articulations and the sound are different from "European" / Orchestral music - not even in physical modelled libraries (I bought a few). The plans were real and not just talking. But after I got f'ed hard in the a$$, especially from people like the guy from that channel, I stopped everything regarding Kontakt Libraries (also projects like Turkish Clarinet, Ney etc.).

To anyone who plans to buy something there:
Just be warned about these people: These guys are the most dishonorable liars. With one of them I had direct contact and was on a phone call. He swore on his son that he had nothing to do with these guys and selling my library behind my back, even after I cleary exposed him.

So, go ahead and buy the old version of my library. I don't care. Enjoy.

I didn't want to buy anything there, I would never pay money for warez.

I just wanted to listen to the libraries, how they feel when playing and how they sound.

I have tried many of these oriental libraries and deleted them from my hard disk because they just sucked.

Any warez link published on AZ is a host with reward (eg. Rapidgator). This means that each download corresponds to a cash payment. No, not even Teams do it for free, they also sell warez

 

Completely agree - warez are meant to be accessible and FREE to all who need them. Though I stay as far away from "telegram" as possible. The entire premise behind "telegram" is just h34dfucked. Using a cell phone for warez/pr0n downloads that are traceable to the user in about 5 seconds? What kind of fools buy into shit like that in the first place? Unless you're running a burner phone or a tracfone that has never been paid for or refilled with anything but plain ca$h which also has all GPS, and tracing garbage turned off, doing shit like that is just asking for trouble. The entire "telegram" thing seems all too scam-ish...

What you are talking about is often called Profiteering, because they generate revenue by having files. But that is entirely different than "selling warez".

the files can be completely legal and that data transfer would generate revenue also. Look at the right side column of AZ. The end user pays nothing for them, unless they want a better service, aka premium service from a data hosting company. Don't forget such sites always respect so-called "scene rules" by offering downloads of the same exact content for free. (just terribly slow). There is always a free option.
