I hope someone can help me find an answer to my problem.
I'm trying to patch Live 12.0.5.

The patcher from audiowarez tells me:
Byte sequence not found in file: .\Ableton Live 12 Suite.exe
Patching unsuccessful.

What should I do. Please help,

if the exe is pre patched it will return Patching unsuccessful.

 

Did you ever happen to solve the issue? I'm running up against the same problem with the same notification

 

Pro tip: If you decide upon R2R then you can let Ableton auto-update and continue living a blissful life (no extra patching required)

 

I will answer like the other members, to go rather to the last installations with R2R and their patch which is put in the installation folder of Live.

Spoiler: Problem and issues

And I'm sorry for the off-topic but I have a problem with the last installation of live with r2r I cannot uninstall it despite numerous attempts (revo,geek etc ), deleting all the folders etc on my system the applications show up still installed and takes up 8GB and a lot of space, it's rather restrictive!

Moreover it is displayed as being a 32bit installation on my system in x64 and all work very well during use but I cannot delete it from my system if anyone has an answer or a solution to my problem and I I apologize in advance to the author of the topic for polluting his post.

I have the error 0x80070641 even during tries in safe mode, and I may have done all the manips of the world to us you or the SFC / dism commands etc but nothing is there Made I think I will have to reset my system but if someone would have an alternative or a possible solution I will be immensely grateful to them, I heard about bulk crap uninstaller but I very much doubt that it will change anything if even revo did not succeed

EDIT FINAL : Finally it would seem that Bulck Crap Uninstall Pushed as administrator My licenses to correctly clean the registers, and to use the Live 10 uninstalling to uninstall and clean the recuration of Live 12 installations, so thank you, I resolved my problem But I all let the same the information we never know that someone finds himself facing the same situation.

Clean Install:

1. Save your work and presets
2. Delete all Ableton files
3. Restart your PC
4. Install Ableton

Delete:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Ableton

Uninstall and please delete (it's a hidden folder):

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Ableton
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Ableton
C:\ProgramData\Ableton

Registry --> Regedit
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Ableton
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ableton

After the deletion process, use Free CCleaner and restart the PC.

 

Yo, i've been trying to crack ableton with the audiowarez folder and i'm stuck. I've dragged the exe file into the patcher and it said succesful, and then the steps become unclear. The patcher doesn't open even if i open as administrator. And does the ableton keygen.exe come with the cracked pack or do i need to download it seperate somewhere else? I don't really understand. If anyone could that would be very useful. Thanks in advance

 

i got it working, this is what i did piggybacking off the instructions in the download

How to install the Application:
=============
1. Disable internet and antivirus (not sure if necessary, your mileage may vary)

2. Install the Application (Ableton Live 12 Suite Installer.exe) when it finishes installing don’t open it when it finishes installing just press close

3. Run ABLETON PATCHER.exe and go to program installation folder (this may be a redundant step i did it anyway)

4. Drag and Drop or copy and paste ABLETON PATCHER.exe into the Ableton live installation folder “C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Suite\Program”

5. Run ABLETON PATCHER.exe when it is in C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Suite\Program

6. Run Ableton Live, when it launches for the first time a pop up asking how to verify license or something like that will appear, press on the bottom right option it should be the one that says, no internet on computer.

7. Run Ableton Keygen V2.exe, when it asks for Hardware ID go back to Ableton and there should be a string of numbers and letters (if the last step was followed correctly), input the full string into Ableton Keygen V2.exe, press enter.

8. Keygen.exe will ask the downloaded version, its suite and 12 I cant remember if there is anything else after that if there is it must have been straightforward

9. oh a new file will show up in the patch-keygen folder authorize.auz click on that and youre all set

i was getting a weird error in the patcher Byte sequence not found in file: .\Ableton Live 12 Suite.exe , not sure what was causing this so i basically unsintalled everything and redownloaded it again, followed the instructions above and it worked.

some tips: to uninstall ableton completely run the installation file again, and make sure there is nothing in these registries aswell

i also removed Ableton from my firewall
