does anyone know how can control kontakt 8's pitch bend in cubase with midi cc? I tried automation, doesn't seem to read when i change the pitch bend controls

 

Don't know how you're doing it, works as expected here.

 

Try using Latch Mode automation if you run into an issue like this. When you move the plugin control, it will start writing CC data to a new lane that is valid for the parameter you are trying to automate. It can save you time usually, but can also help figure out problems because the plugin is sending the cc data to the DAW, not the other way around.

 

okay would try again, quick question is there a way to reduce the pitchbend points drawn but still keep the curve intact?

 

it's called reduce automation events in Cubase.

 

yh but it doesn't apply to controller curves in key editor , only automation

 

Mine is set to step, but you can set to ramp and it will turn your freehand to simplified ramps, or you can use the bezier curves.
