I guess this might be a little untypical topic, and I have already searched some options but maybe here I find actualy users who could help a bit

What it is about? Well, we would like to build some kind of setup where around 30 wireless headphones could play all together in the same time what is being played on PC (with big tv as monitor). They should be working just fine within 30 meters from the transmitter/source. I found some silent disco setups that works via FM, also found these TR2403 receivers from 'avantree', that works via 2.4G technology but im afraid the only option is to connect headsets via cable 3.5 jack to the receiver. And ideally I would like the setup without cables from headphones. Some are saying I would need 1 receiver for 2 headphones, some are saying 1 for 8 headphones, but the more the lower the signal quality.. I'm lost. On the website there are info, on the youtube comments company says other things :D

Anyone had experience ever with such thing?

Nice, that is what I found also. But I'm curious, do you need receivers to be connected via cable to headphones? Or can be headphones paired with receivers via bluetooth?

 

Sorry, I don't have a clue about it, but write an email to the manufacturer and describe your problem.

Lightweight and Easy to Use
Each dongle in the 2403s set comes with a removable clip that can be used to “clip” the dongle onto your shirt or belt, so that you won’t drop them easily when you move. They also feature intuitive user-interface with easily accessible buttons for pairing, volume control, as well as status indicators that are easy to use & understand.

 

Mmm... the only freely portable wireless headphones are the Bluetooth ones. But they lack bandwidth/power enough for so many receivers and that range. That 30m range is pretty much the limit or more, the number of receivers with Bluetooth uses to be until 8.

So yeah you're stuck with WiFi receivers, I don't know much about sound via WiFi (I'm assuming is WiFi-based given the frequency)

 

Form the looks of those 2403 personal receivers it appears that the listening party using a receiver has the option of either plugging in a headset to the provided jacks, or "pairing" a wireless device sans cables. Pretty convenient if they work well.

Silent disco systems are your best bet since they are designed for large simultaneous headphone use. FM-based systems usually handle dozens of receivers with minimal degradation, though the sound quality won’t be studio level. The TR2403 units are solid, but yeah, the cable requirement makes them awkward. True multi-headphone wireless setups without cables get complicated fast because most consumer Bluetooth transmitters don’t support broadcasting to more than a handful of devices.
