I add a library in Libraries tab and shows fine , works fine.
When i reopen Kontakt the library is not there and need to re-add.
Am i missing something major here? Any ideas on why this happens? (happens with more than one libraries while other libraries remain there!)

Do you have the latest update installed? I remember one of the previous updates used to do it all the time, not anymore. (Try version 5.3.1)

Please name posts appropriately. One time only library is misleading.

 

For you to get more help and a understandable answer you need to provide more info:

OS version(MAC, WIN) (64bit or 32bit)?
Library Name?
was it a custom .nicnt?
did you delete the xml in the service center folder?

I see that you are the guy to kontakt :-P

I'm having the same issues as the other guys when re opening the kontakt instance. I keep losing the libraries from the library tab. Almost every one of them.

The most important libraries are :

1) Orchestral Tools - Berlin Woodwinds (1.6 update) and Berlin Strings

2) Cinematic Strings 2.1

3) NI Action Strings

4) ProjectSam - Lumina

5) CineWinds Pro and Core

6) CineStrings

etc.

Is there a way to fix this for every library?

I have Win 7, Cubase 5 and 7, Kontakt 5.3.1

Same problem over hear with emotive strings.

 

Do you have something like a

.tmp file appearing on your desktop?

I had this with Exhale and had to rename/create a different file and place in relevant folder.

Sorry can't be more specific as I can't remember. I'm sure I got info through Google search though.

 

I had the same problem with Evolution Strawberry from Orange Tree. From Macintosh HD -> Library -> Preferences i put the file "com.native-instruments.Evolution Strawberry.plist" to the trash. Next time I loaded the library into Kontakt, it stayed there. Maybe there is something similar on Windows!?

Normaly IN MAC if you go in pref -> library of contact and you targed all hd ws your sound bank

and after rebuilt it ( go take a coffee or two or maybe make that in the night when you

don’t work on it because like me he need several hours bcs a lot of bank sure : )

and that it normaly work well after reboot

remember for some lib needed instal addition graph ( ws installer included on bank or a the hand in main lyb or uzer in aply support Ni Kontakt etc )
