I got Amplitube 5 Complete from sister site and installed it, but it won't start, even after authenticating with keyg.
What is going on? How can I fix it?
I would appreciate your wisdom.
(I tried Ver. 5.10.1, Ver. 5.6.0 and Ver. 5.5.3, but no luck...)

 

does it give an error message, if so what is it?
how are you trying to start it? with an icon, with the command line, etc?
what is your o/s and version and hardware.

I am trying to use it on a desktop computer.

No error message is displayed. Tried to start with “Run as administrator” and could not.
Tried to start from desktop icon, failed. tried to start on DAW, not recognized by DAW.

It does not start even in administrator mode.

navigate to the folder where it is installed, probably under program files or program files (x86). check in the folder where it installed itself for a file ending in .exe

This is the executable program, if it doesn't exist or is damaged, the program won't start.

let us know what you find.

 

You need to make sure you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2022 (x64) as it says in the downloads Runtime.txt

I always download the manual and give it a lookover before i buy any new gear. If i have a problem later, I have the manual as my first source of guidance.

men do read manuals, especially men of technical abilites. Some of us can even read and write books and such, we are a creative lot when women allow us to be....

 

ps if you are installing R2R software, you better learn to read the .nfo or suffer the consequences...

 

Some men do not need to read manuals and just know what they're doing ... I didn't say I didn't read the manual because I cannot read or write a book, I'm sure I can and do read certain pages of manuals especially when building my own PCs over the past 20+ years and yes always reading the .nfo or R2R installation instructions with the download is always very helpful.

 

Of course it is the R2R.txt that is most important!
The R2R.nfo is the info.
The R2R.txt is the orders!
