Cables, sure some like Beldin and others are better than the $20 ones, but $11,000 ????
If you were on a desert island and all you wanted to hear was some music for the pure sake of enjoyment, I doubt you'd be too concerned about the audiophile quality of the cable unless the cable was broken.

Very interesting.
I did not know the history goes that far back. I thought to this day that it was an upcoming phenomena in the 80's.

If one is seeing these very serious clothed man doing goofy things the idea can occure that the movie Playtime is pretty accurate.

I was surprised that the term Audiophile has psychiatric origin. As in the document: "Is it a religion or disease?"

 

It's the name given to the religionization of the disease.

 

Technically I suppose "audiophelia" would be describing a sexual fetish.
