Setting or changing Tempo using surface control

    I've been trying to change the BPM settings on Reaper via a control surface (Novation SL MKII) but not getting any joy.

    I am able to transpose, do bank & program changes on Roland Cloud's Sound Canvas VA VSTi on Reaper via the control surface, but I am just not able to change the Tempo.

    I was wondering, if this is at all possible? Reaper Tempo.png
