Hi,

I was wondering if there’s a way to prevent the Komplete Kontrol software from displaying—or syncing—the Kontakt libraries. Since I’m primarily using Kontakt 8 for those, it would streamline my workflow and improve performance when using Komplete Kontrol for other purposes.

if you are on windows
simply rename the Native instruments key in regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments
ex:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native InstrumentsAAA

+ delete the installed products .json files or folder.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products

Komplete kontrol wil create a new regedit key with only few NI plugins at the opening, with an empty library.
to revert the situation, delete the new key and rename the modified one as original.

you can also use a regedit exported file to make the backup job, and simply delete the key when you need it.+ json delete.
it can be done with a script in a batch file. (make a regedit backup export before use)

copy this and rename the text file in .bat

click the bat file to delete & backup from the exported reg file.
