Perhaps you could label your satirical posts as satire or humor before sending our younger generation into total confusion.
Thank you for your understanding, and much praise for your writing talent.

the only way to really corrupt the younger generations is to tiptoe silently past their filters and let the neurons misfire. Satire is difficult in age when everyone beleives everything at face value.

Its like an optical illusion for the brain (or wait aren't all optical illusions actually in the brain?? the eye is merely a sensor and a lens) - anyhow always good to get one to reconsider their understanding, its where the novelty and creativty lies waiting to be utilized.

But appreciate your input, look forward to seeing what programs/utilities you can recommend for the trying task at hand. I accidentally converted an entire gallon of drum loops to drams, now I'm even in more of a fluster as I promised the band I'd have their song remixed by tomorrow, and right now it looks more like perfume in all those little bottles, than music...

I probably have an accodrian in Chromophone 3... not sure. I know there's a Kontakt one. I know you're joking .

I checked - my banjo is the free x64 "Yojo".

All my accordian is ... dramatic pause ... drumroll ... cymbals and stands crashing on floor .... FM8!

So, I thought everyone was going to post a list of sample libraries or describing which ones are the most usable ones.Collecting libraries and not using them is a bad habit that I got into but I hope I can eventually buy them all...oh I forgot I am a poor hobbyist who can hardly afford a few sample libraries..

i have one million diff samples. one million kicks, snares, all diff percs and stuff. guitars, bass, synth, loops, ear candy.

    i wrote 0 hits.

Max Martin had less than 10 kicks ans less than 10 snares, perc and so on in 90s and made 10000 hits.

Dr. Dre used some same drum samples on 2001, but mixed differently.

i love my life. I have this hobby that keeps me waking up in the morning. I am so thankful they gave me this thing.

Just remembered - Casio CZ is excellent for accordian. Vince Clarke used it on early Erasure.

i'd never use either as part of a song/track, but I've heard accordians used most often as sounds that set a public place, street mood to a cue or even some song intros. Usually layered over field recordings to create a busy outdoor setting like a square in a big city park. If I wanted one in Kontakt, I would probably use Ilya Efimov's.

the most obvious use of banjo in anything recent is probably Mumford and Sons. Not my kind of thing either.

Kontakt Libraries : The following Excel database I've created for Kontakt libraries so that I can use the filter function to select the correct library without losing time.

Sample Packs : Categorized by genre and the sub packs are also categorized by vendors.

    VSTs : Categorized in Cubase

P.S : If someone needs the Excel database, I can share it.

I've kept all my old CD-Rs in the basement since 1996 :) About 500 CDs, or maybe more... They're soon going to the trash because the surface of the discs has started to peel off! Well... nowadays, I mainly have 12 TB on external drives. If I need something, I save myself the trouble of downloading it. I just bought a new system and have been installing new stuff on M.2 Samsung drives for almost 3 weeks. I have a total of 10 TB on my system. I also enjoy testing new things :)

Around 8 TB of libraries, including Kontakt, East West, Toontrack drums, and own recorded stuff. 1 TB of traditional sample packs of electronic music sounds. 7 TB of soundscapes, ambiance, atmospheres, foley, etc.
Everything is organized by "Developer Name - Product Name" structure, except for SFX and foley which are all in their own categories of different sounds sorted by their usage and character/origin of sound. Traditional sample packs I usually leave as is in their internal folder structure as it's usually pretty standardized already even across different companies, only rarely having to combine or slightly reorganize to declutter a bit and remove some unnecessary nested folders. When I work with audio files directly I usually work with Ableton LIVE 11 and use its built in browser to navigate and preview sounds.

I used to do some cleaning and deleting things I very rarely or never use but I stopped as it feels like it's easier to just keep everything, in case you'll maybe need it someday, instead of realizing you don't have some specific library anymore and trying to find it again and redownloading. Basically it's a digital hoarding at this point, but large HDDs are pretty affordable and I have all of this spread across 3 8TB drives.
I don't really organize Kontakt libraries that much. I have folders for different types of instruments in Kontakt's Quick Load menu for like Strings, Brass, Percussion, Synths, Guitars, etc. Inside those are folders for different libraries in which I store patches that I like and use the most. I keep it tidy and on a smaller size for a quicker access. I still mostly tend to use same things over and over again, I have my favorite libraries I like to use and I know where to look for what I need most of the times.

The left side of Kontakt with list of all the libraries is organized by companies with those I tend to use more often being on top, with Noir and Walker D being on the very top as my 2 favourite pianos just for playing and sketching. Sometimes I just scroll through and look at wallpapers and try to find some inspiration or maybe find a similar theme in image to what I'm working with. Half of these wallpapers coming from the talented artists from this forum, for which I'm grateful as they look great and can easily help me feel the theme and the sound of a library just by looking at the picture.
If I'm looking for something specific I just use the search and type the library name. Editing NativeAccess.xml helps with that because I had to rename couple of libraries to makes them easier to find. For example Spitfire's Albion series since their names are all over the place. There's Albion, 2nd one is Loegria, 3rd is Iceni, 5th is Tundra, which means I can't just type in search bar Albion and see all of them pop up but after renaming them in NativeAccess to Albion 2 Loegria, Albion 5 Tundra, etc. I can finally find them both by typing Albion or individual library name. And also some developers just love naming their products IN ALL CAPS for no reason which really annoys me and makes those libraries stand out like a sore thumb so I fixed that too for my own sanity.
