I know of the Electric State from the Simon Stålenhag books. They are like alt-history, narrative art. : https://www.simonstalenhag.se/tftl.html

They did a show based on Tales from the Loop as well.

And the most EXCITING thing to come of his universe, is the upcoming TTRPG by free league publishing. The designer from Mork Bork/CY_BORG and a lot of other big names in avant-garde design/art are working together on it:

I am anxious for AI full length movies however made by great movie makers not merely geeks of the tech. Like George Lucas could set up on his porch or something and start up gain.

where we are was 12,000 years in the making.
suggest you read up on the "The Club of Rome", "The Committee of 300", Bilderbergs, COVID, etc.

the history of mankind has always been about the distribution of resources and countervailing groups of organized individuals attempting to steer the ownership and distribution of those resources. Of course mother nature steps in with a large boulder from the sky every now and then, also solar flares, earthquakes, fires, etc.

ask yourself why are we so many, only now, when modern man has existed for between .25 million and one million years? thats a lot of time to reproduce and build social and physical structures.

Why is there only a few bones and dust and some mysterious precision megaliths scattered about on this world without history?

Mickey 17 is amazing. The 137 minutes flew by. No dull filler.
The Robert Pattinsons are great along with Mark Ruffalo as the crazed Trump type character. So many fun characters. It's non-stop action throughout.

So sad to hear Val Kilmer had died. I watched my favourite movie of his again. So many gags in it you may need to watch it twice. Same team that gave us Airplane!

if you are referencing the MIT study for "the limits to growth" absolutely a scam. a model designed to give the results necessary for the argument.

Amazing documentary for those of us old enough to remember being able to afford and use 16 note controlled voltage sequencers.

Glengarry Glen Ross...The most excellent film adaptation of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize wining critique on the morality of unfettered capitalism.

Jack Lemon, Al Pacino, Alan Arkin, Kevin Spacey, Ed Harris and Alec Baldwin work together to create true art on screen. Perhaps director James Foley only needed to say ACTION and those fellows just went about their business...though maybe not.

enjoyed a little film last night that was made in the century. a rarity for me.

Snak Shack, a fun little dramatic comedy that apparently lost its shirt at the box office. I'd never heard of it. Guess they needed a better adverstising budget/team..

Life in the summer of 1991, a pair of friends are tested in their friendship by life, women, family and the random nature of the universe. well made film.
