hi, how would you emplement a sound of a rain or water boiling or sandstorm in a track (electronic). where you place the sound how you EQ. it process it mix it with the rest of the arrangement

 

low cut at 100 hz and some boost at 8 khz..

 

I would place the sandstorm at the beginning and let it slowly get louder, then the song begins.
The storm intro makes the song more exciting!

I would prefer rain to boiling water, as rain is more familiar and easier for listeners to identify.
I would have the rain appear twice in the track. I don't know what you're planning or how long the track will be.

Once you've determined the total length of the song, I would place the rain sample in the first verse and then in the last verse.
Intro - Verse - Chorus - Verse - Chorus - Verse - Outro [ or ] Intro - Verse - Chorus - Verse - Outro

I wouldn't start working on the EQ until the song is complete, or all samples, drums, rhythm, etc. are finished.
Each instrument should be clearly audible, and the EQ can then help separate similar frequencies.
