Is there a synthesizer AI or whatever tool really, that can act as a VSTi with the following
ability:

- given one or multiple sound samples (like small 1s, 2s sound clips in wav format)
it will then use those to create the full range of the musical instrument "sound"
present in the samples and then you can use that as a VSTi instrument within a DAW?

Example: given couple clips of a violin playing, it will analyze those samples (assuming
notes) and mimic the entire spectrum of that violin (generate the other missing notes)
and then you use that re-creation synth or whatever you wanna call this and this acts
as the VSTi instrument so you can compose as if you had access to the same instrument
the samples were created with.

That would be a cool technology. Is there such a thing?

If there isn't such a thing already, somebody will make it, I'm sure. That's good usage of AI. Assembling sample based instruments with many layers can be rather time consuming.
