Does it suffer amnesia like Serum 1? (rescanning the same presets over and over when you save/install new presets) or does it remember?

 

Nope. If you rescan...then it's a 1 second scan

 

My bad. It just scans your old S1 presets...

 

Overall mixed feelings. No stretch algorithms for oneshots, weird multisample. Good rework of fx sections and thats probably all. Ableton arp... Dunno, could be done much more and better.

The SFZ import is awesome! It even support round robin.

Set Clip as browser pre-listen is so much more useful than any other prelisten-system found in other synths.


Not to mention snap to scale etc , so much new exciting stuff


I suggest to anyone try the demo, there are so many unique new things.
Not just another new wavetable synth, which can do the same as others.

Plus the GUI is much more usable (readable) than Nexus'

That's a nice free update! What if i start it right now a "rent to own" on Splice? Will I get serum 2 when its on there?

It's not accessible yet though through Splice's leasing/rent to own system. Splice still has to add it and they haven't yet.

 

i tried to make a request on sister site but was denied... anyone know how much time takes to make another try? i was mentioned that this was cause the release its too early....

 

im so glad i hoarded an obscene amount of SFZ files over the years from torrents and the sister site.

serum 2 already picked up the 80gb of presets i never use as well , and it literally to about 3 minutes to build the database in the preset window.

the preset play preview is amazing , but the only downside is it swaps over to that preset with one click instead of double clicking so i already lost track of what i was doing with the new arp patch i had made.

i still dont understand why nerve costs so much after all these years of basically being forgotten about

i panicked the first 3 times it happened.

activating it took about 5 tries because i kept getting the banned screen again

 

for software this popular, your request will have literally no impact on when it gets released

 

I'm curious, do request even have an impact anyway? It'd make sense if they didn't, really

 

In the case of Serum2, not so much obviously, because those who are able to put it there already know it's out and that people want it, and they know it really well?
