You're The Biggest Thing Since Powdered Milk Baby is my favourite track on the album, I tend to skip the drum solo at the beginning.

Sonam Pem is a singer-songwriter from Bhutan. Her day job is as a teacher, but she is also a musician.
There are not many people in Bhutan who are full-time musicians, and many musicians have a day job and are also musicians.

@Lois Lane - for those times when only a tune with a riff will do :winker:

Looks as if the Swiss dude who formed the band Krokus is playing bass. Von Rohr did a version of Nugent's Cat Scratch Fever.

Agnès Hélène sings on this song.

Cool. It's a shame the recorded version of "Hey Baby" was unavailable. It has a better feel with the riff that grooves better.

Hey Baby was Derek St. Holmes's song, probably why it has a completely different groove from anything else on that album!

*guh* I had to cleanse my palette after remembering Ted Nugent was a thing.

An older guitarist I used to jam with had seen him a few times back in the seventies, he's like: "He was kinda cool when he first came out, anti-glam and pomp, but then went and created his own version of "macho" glam with his 'merican-hunter-with-guns routine. Man, we get it... but it's America, we all got guns." He wasn't wrong. Dude was always super corny.

Anyway, here's a band from Australia that I found on Bandcamp a couple years ago. Killer riffs and hooks; you can hear everything from Blue Oyster Cult and Thin Lizzy, to Nazareth and Black Rose, distilled 70s/80s Rock—and note the lack of machismo pomp.
