Since migrating to OSX Sequoia I noticed things vanishing, one of them was the WAVES instruction to remove and install from the sister site, I then noticed many deep singing images not shown up in notes where I saved them about installing, deep singing etc, forums like this and others who advised work arounds issues with Mac interfaces.

Has anyone else experienced this type of intrusive behaviour by Waves or other manufactures removing information on how to install, deal with deep singing etc? is this some type of malware, I had a waves folder with at least 45 noted about every plug they have, even videos and all of this vanished along with other sister site with advise here I copied notes to install on both Mac and windows platforms., months later all vanished from my apple notes!

Tried to search for "deep singing image" just to see if it was something software related that I've never heard of, but I only get links to AI image generators and stock photo sites.

as radio the AI stated above, its likely a cloud issue. there is no way waves or any other company is deleting your stuff.

only notes that have terminal commands saved to copy and paste into the terminal vanished.
my apple notes has issues in the past that where suspect, like pages scattered all over outside folders during sync, no sync all kinds of issues but 99% of these seem to of been resolves in the last 6 months.

As for notes, we are talking over 25, I had specific notes decimated by developer in alphabetical order, inside these folders would contain a file of technical info like terminal commands, images as well from discussions people shared, all gone yet product info and other sorts remain.

 

I am no apple aficionado but it's my guess that is apple/apple os that is perpetrating that kind of behavior. Corporate owned and regulated malware.

If that were the case my entire Notes app would be empty. You either screwed something up yourself or you've got an issue syncing with iCloud as already mentioned.

Im a notes power user, 180GB of notes, photos videos folders in folders with collapsible sections inside notes, I have a huge collection of everything and its so interesting that even ChatGTP does know some of the info exists., I contacted Apple about this but pretended they where normal computer codes and they said it what caused it, adding maybe the codes was seen as harmful tags or corrupted data, that notes clears chase upon quitting and may of removed these notes, but thats crazy, why have this feature at all if clearing cache usually involved currently rendered data., Apple claims its a feature,. just like Final Cut Pro crashing is a feature, to save battery life or something, its not a surprise coming from them. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4599596?sortBy=rank notes auto delating is nothing new . but selective deleting is something new.

If someone were to sue Apple for AI collecting information, Apple would lose the case and in the EU, for example, millions in fines would be due. Apple knows exactly what it can and cannot do. If it were as you describe, users from the Apple computer industry would have long since reported it and sued the company.
