Can I install legit Native Access to download legit Massive if I had sister site releases installed?

Don't make your life so difficult, just download from the sister site Massive. Save your money for your vacation etc.
As a general rule of thumb, you can remember: Either everything is legal or everything is illegal. Both almost always don't work!

Better not and keep the coupon or give it away. Cracked Native Access and legal Native Access lead to disaster.

I don't know how NI works these days, as even though I have NI Ultimate or whatever, I haven't installed jack all as I don't desire it. I use Kontakt a lot, and installed HCiSO's fine version from sister site and moved on with my life....

But historically, I've run my legit NI stuff along with k'd no problem on Mac anyways... not sure what has changed as haven't checked or tried.

I haven't opened Native Access once on my new system, and I don't know if it operates like they used to where it would basically show my certain libraries that were sourced from outside as being "not activated", but worked fine in my use...

But to the greater point, yeah.. depending on what you want to do and what scope, I just said f Native Instruments and just sidestepped their role in my life outside of what I want to use, which isn't much.

Yes you can. However, keep your keygen handy as updating Access tends to set the k'd software back to demo mode. Also they appear as demos in Access which is annoying to same.

You can indeed. I also have portable Kontakt + libraries + legit Native Access running side by side (on Windows). You might want to write a batch file to toggle the necessary services and hosts file entries for when you need to use Native Access and for when you don't.

    native_access_on.cmd:
    Code:
    sc config "NTKDaemonService" start= demand
    sc config "NIHostIntegrationAgent" start= demand

    sc start "NTKDaemonService"
    sc start "NIHostIntegrationAgent"

    type C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts | findstr /v "native-instruments.com auth.native-instruments.com community.native-instruments.com api.native-instruments.com configuration.native-instruments.com www.native-instruments.com clicks.native-instruments.com" > C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.tmp
    move C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.tmp C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

    pause

    native_access_off.cmd:
    Code:
    type C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts | findstr /v "native-instruments.com auth.native-instruments.com community.native-instruments.com api.native-instruments.com configuration.native-instruments.com www.native-instruments.com clicks.native-instruments.com" > C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.tmp
    (echo 0.0.0.0 native-instruments.com
    echo 0.0.0.0 auth.native-instruments.com
    echo 0.0.0.0 community.native-instruments.com
    echo 0.0.0.0 api.native-instruments.com
    echo 0.0.0.0 configuration.native-instruments.com
    echo 0.0.0.0 www.native-instruments.com
    echo 0.0.0.0 clicks.native-instruments.com) >> C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.tmp

    move C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.tmp C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

    sc config "NTKDaemonService" start= disabled
    sc config "NIHostIntegrationAgent" start= disabled

sc stop "NTKDaemonService" | findstr /V /C:"not been started" /C:"1062"
sc stop "NIHostIntegrationAgent" | findstr /V /C:"not been started" /C:"1062"

    pause

Both cmd files assume they're run as admin and that you have read/write access for C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and all files in that folder.

native_access_on.cmd turns the NI services back on and removes the entries from the hosts, native_access_off.cmd disables the services and adds the hosts entries back in.
