Question: In which folder are self-created arpeggiator *.mid files saved? So the “Import” and “Export” mid files!

I guess in windows, The *mid files are saved to a location in any directory you can select basically yourself. You can recall these from the same directory whenever needed :)

But IMHO if convenience is what you want then save them as 'preset' within the NEXUS ARP Preset folder. You can easily recal them by clicking the preset icon on the NEXUS ARP menu

Thanks for your answer, I received an answer from the Nexus 5 support team.

All user saved presets/samples are in:
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\reFX\nexus

I have a question regarding the cracked version.
I followed the installation instructions, chose the path and everything was going smoothly until I opened it.
"The library for Nexus isn't installed." Even though I copied the files into the library.
In the instructions it says that I can change the Nexus library folder in settings.json however I don't have such a file.
What do I do in this situation?
(Also uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help)

While installing Nexus 5 you are asked for the directory where to install the library. That directory will contain the Nexus library folder where you will need to place your (Nexus 5 factory library/expansions )i.e the Nexus presets samples etc. There also will be the library update locator.exe. Just click it. It will link that folder to the plugin. So that the plugin will be able to detect that particular folder containing the samples and presets.

    Hope it helps

I tried to find it but there is just no file called library update locator.exe, in fact the are no more .exe files besides the install.exe and uninstall.exe. I tried deleting the Library folder but whenever I try to install Nexus it locks the option to change the Library folder and even though everything is installed I can't see any presets. I'm starting to think that it has to do with the fact that I had Nexus 4 installed and maybe somehow they got mixed up (idk if that's even possible). When scanning for the Nexus plugin in FL it just says Nexus like it did when I had Nexus 4. Also it's not highlighted as a new plugin it's just there and there's nothing I can do about it.

Most of the errors are user error and installing new over old, usually leading to unexpected results with the old file remnants messing everything up.

    First, back up your files.

Uninstall Nexus 5 and then delete everything that has to do with reFX - Nexus.
Then restart your PC and install Nexus 5, then copy the library from version 4 into the Nexus 5 --> C:\reFX folder.

    Go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\reFX\nexus
Find settings.json, open with notepad and edit.

    Edit:
the two slashes are mandatory \\ Example: "library_folder": "C:\\Users\\Public\\Documents\\reFX\\nexus\\NEXUS library",

    As @Radio says....
Back up your libraries (i.e samples, presets and NKS folder).
Move them to a safe location.
    Uninstall Nexus. Use revo uninstaller..
Check and if necessary manually clean refx/ Nexus remnant folders from
    C/ Documents,
    public documents
    Appdata/roaming
    Vst, VST3 etc...
Check registry if any remnant remains .......clean them.

Then go for clean installation of NEXUS 5
As Team V.R says.. Just install.
Remember the directory where you install Nexus...it will surely contain a black X icon i.e the library locator along with other system and preset folders...

Now from your back up ..
Place your samples folder in the library folder of the directory..
Copy your preset and NKS folder and paste them in that directory and merge them when asked...
Then click the black X icon... It basically links that folder to the plugin, so that ithe plugins is able to detect that folder containing the samples and presets while loading...

    Your are good to go
    Hope this helps...
