There are various types of goosebumps (perhaps as many as there are types of music). In my previous post, I mentioned examples of goosebumps related to my country—my culture. Now, I point out goosebumps tied to the energy of film music and all the feeling present in these tracks:

Many, but this sprang to mind immediately. I'm not normally melted by mandolins.

 

АукцЫон (Auction) the full alum from 1993 "Птица" (The Bird) is really something. It has that bland between avant-garde, new-wave and rock.

Here's the song "Охотник" (The Hunter) from 1989 album "Как я стал предателем" (How I became a traitor)

and song "Фа фа фа" (Fa Fa Fa) from 1991 album "Бодун" (Hangover)

Overall I find Leonid Fjodorov to be one of the best song writers, unfortunately his brilliant song writings go hand in hand with an absolute madman stuff. It's going to be a long list to count every song of his that gives me goosebumps and up to 2005 he held himself, but almost everything after is just crazy, "artistic", avant-garde nonsense (except for few sober moments when he and his band made 2 albums, but to me those "new" albums are just repetition of what he already did before)

changing goosebumps, now this guy always gives me the best goosebumps in contemporary heavy music. A genius whom I wish could be appreciated by more and more people...

 

Devin is a great musician + he has a sense of humor and self-reflection which is rare.
