I'm having a problem installing cubase 14 r2r. I am getting this error. Can anyone help me?

 

woah very strange error, thats a preset file for the logical editor, so it's something really not important for the installation, you can go there and delete the file or check if it is in "read only mode" or something, but it's definitely weird

you had already cubase installed? did you unistall the old version before installing the new one?

if you unistall YOUR PERSONAL FILES will not be deleted BUT BE CAREFUL if you have something you need like presets or personal samples MAKE A BACK UP

 

Stay with this version: Steinberg Cubase Pro 14 v14.0.10-R2R and stay on the sister site.

Read NFO of our emulator to know more about our emulator releases.

Which operating system do you use? Where do you install from?
Try to install it again, turn off all unnecessary things.
If you have Power ISO on, please turn it off and install from the hard drive. Tell us a little more.

Windows 11 Pro 22H2, Cubase Pro 14 v14.0.10-R2R, everything works. Which operating system do you use?

Check if you have installed, TEAM R2R Root Certificate-R2R and TEAM R2R Steinberg Silk Emulator v1.3.0-R2R

this version 100% works just fallow the steep when he root certificated

 

I still do not understand the reasoning behind putting one's self thru the royal PITA of screwing around with the R2R process of installing steiny stuff. The TeamV.R method is much EASIER, better, and more solid in the long run (especially for updates) and doesn't require a long drawn out dirge of a process that is famous for its many issues.
