Every time I start S1 7.1.1 and every time I go to the Splice tab, it asks me to log in.

For some reason (hosts file? firewall block? - running the R2R Spere Manager, not sure what it does) I cannot log in, I get a "Failed to connect to the server. Check internet connection" error.

It's not a big deal, I can just press Esc, but it's really annoying.
Help, how do I get rid of it?

I have the same problem, but mine pops up occasionally when opening the software. I don't use splice so I don't know if it does the same as yours.

I've been using 7.1 for a while now and it seems to be normal behavior for this version. They're forcing you to log in now.

No. They are not. Studio One 7 Pro can be both activated and used entirely offline.

Yes, it's annoying. And yes they WANT you to login.....so they can mine your data. You can't get rid of it but you can ignore it just like any other pop-up nag screens. They can't force you to log on to use Studio One. Users would be leaving in droves. Many users either just plain keep their main DAWS offline at all times or work in the field in places where there may be no internet.

What I meant is that they're being forceful about wanting you to be logged in. It's annoying, and will probably turn into a real forced login soon enough. An account is now required for pretty much everything legit, that's all part of their plan of pushing their subscription. Soon enough a perpetual license will only be available through a year of subscription, and that's how they get everyone to be logged in.

The R2R sphere manager add a vc runtime or version.dll in studio one installation folder and it block presonus.com url and all api link like update and etc.
