Yes, my ex-wife didn't appreciate so much when I was always at studio with my "pc, virus c, vsti, vst, daw, editors, midi-keys, speakers, headphones", but now my girlfriend (with no relationship, no love, only friends, "if I don't want any relations - it is still ok") recently bought me 2 behringer analog synths I wanted (we were just talking about them and my studio).. Now she wants to buy everything I want, synths, new pc, midi interfaces, new midi keys, etc. What to do now? O_o is it a kind of a new trap? Am I in paradise before I die?

The same happened to me thirty some odd years ago. It was as a dream come true until it suddenly wasn't. Although part of it was well meaning on her part, the greater percentage was more a form of control. She was beautiful, had oodles of money from having been married to a billionaire and she gave me a great room in her great big house for my studio and started buying me some great gear. It was all a trap as she was incredibly jealous and basically wanted me all for herself. It soon enough enough became intolerable. I was miserable, and when she wanted to marry me, of course with a very generous prenuptial agreement with far too many clauses, I felt it to be a Faustian contract and thankfully didn’t go there. I'm glad that I got out of that with my skin.

Perhaps your friend is well meaning and is pure at heart and sound in mind. Behringer synths are nice.

Most of the time they try to buy your love for her so that you become dependent on her. What will she expect in return?

On the other hand, there are also women who need someone they can mother. And if she has enough or too much money, I would say take it and write and produce a song for her as a thank you.

Some people care about others and support them financially, there are also people who simply give away their money without anything in return.

In my experience, every penny you get from a woman comes with a price tag at some point.

But this may be just my experience. I just remembered how my first long-term gf pestered me for some money I borrowed from her, after she cheated then broke up with me and caused me a seriously traumatic and painful first long-term rs. When you give them money, it's never an issue, of course. I actually understand that and not complaining, but that doesn't make it right. It's how the dynamics between men and women (doesn't ) works. We should be providers and them... receivers-takers.
