This song contains my favorite guitar solo ever (at around the 2:50 mark) and I wonder if there's a way to nail its tone ITB. I often rely on NAM for tone, as it sounds more live and three-dimensional to me, if that makes any sense. However, trying to copy a sound by browsing a chaotic collection of captures is a bit like finding a needle in a haystack. If anyone has a hunch or a tip, I'd be very grateful. Bear in mind, this is not my instrument and I'd be lost even with the right hardware right in front of me, so any advice is welcome. Thank you!

    Hum, quoting the internet:

"Carlos Rios used a Gibson ES-335 into Mesa-Boogie Mk (II?) Series amp cranked up to get the sustain on the original recording. You can replicate the sound with a modeling amp fairly easily or if you have a conventional amp start with your drive around 5 to 8 and use a fairly thick tone. More bass and midrange and roll off the treble a bit."
