The version of OsTIrus I currently have does the same thing in Logic. I will install any update version and see if that changes. I will make sure to save the patch to some local folders. I thought it might just be an issue because I keep al my Virus related stuff on an external drive.

I had 1.3.14 something installed, and a project I had just saved a days ago had lost it's patch when I reopened it. I just updated to current version on the site, opened the same project and it loaded the patch correctly that was just "missing". If it loses the patch again at some point I will mention it. Sometimes there are more conditions needed to duplicate a bug, but just saving, closing, and re-opening the project seems ok.

 

yeah it doesn't happen all the time, which makes it worse in a way. i haven't been able to recreate it 100% sometimes it just happens seemingly. i just rendered a bus saved it loaded it back up, it's fine. so not sure what all the factors are that cause it too happen or i'd be more vocal about the bug on discord to get it fixed. but it seems like they know about it, and someone has said it happens when the project is open too long.

 

Sorry to hear that man, I know the crushing feeling of losing what you worked hard on.

But I can say personally I've never had any problems with these emulators and I've used them all extensively. Reaper 7 / Win10 here as well.

The project I got it to "lose" the patch on, I had just opened, reloaded patch, saved, closed and re-opened. It's somewhat uncommon to see the same "intermittent bug" on both PC and Mac, aside from deliberate time-bomb behavior, using a timer.
