Is there a tool to reorder Kontakt libraries in libraries tab window pane easily?

    I'm using the latest Kontakt 7 release by @bobdule that was installed over the latest R2R version. It all works perfectly, all libraries showing and working without issue. All good on that front.

    My issue is a more generic one. When you have a bunch of libraries installed, the scrolling speed of Kontakt's libraries window pane is painfully slow when, for example, you install a new library and want to drag towards the bottom of the list. As many do, I arrange my libraries in groupings of things like complete orchestral/hybrid libraries, pianos and keys, strings, brass, winds, percussion, basses, guitars, drums, synths, FX, vocals and choirs, and so on. Therefore, if I install a new vocal library, I need to have it show at the bottom of the library list with the others to fit my organised workflow. This is when dragging it down is painful as the scrolling speed is so slow. It's not so bad once all set up, but after a fresh reinstall and needing to re-add all libraries, it can be a horrific experience!

    Are there any tools out there that allow for the reorganising of the way libraries appear in the classic library tabs list window pane without having to rely of dragging and dropping within Kontakt?

    Perfect. Thanks @bobdule and not sure how I previously totally missed this :rofl:

    Is there any way to have it auto-scroll at all, so that if you click and drag, it would continuously scroll with the drag? No big deal if not, as doing it this way by dragging, dropping, page up/down, and repeat is still way quicker than within Kontakt!

    Hello, I just downloaded KontaktLibOrganizer v1.21, but I am using Kontakt portable, so it says "no library installed". Is there any workaround?

    Every portable Kontakt installation has its own library organizer. Check in the folder where you installed Kontakt Portable, there should be a Library tool in there where you can add all the libraries.

    Indeed, Chaindog! Thanks for your reply. I didn't realize that the windows that opens from Kontakt is actually a standalone organizer, and it can do the sorting. Thanks again :)
