30th anniversary next year... Fingers crossed

 

linux eventually requires of you to know how computers work. it takes time to learn it. was difficult. messed around with it for around 10 years but then finally left windows for good. took a year to get used to it. and another year of learning important things. just use plain arch with xfce and learned how to go about fixing loads of different issues. lots of crying and whining happened to me. it just takes time. but if you use apple or windows, you're paying in some way too. either way you pay in the form of time or money. but it seems like linux is more of a portable skill than windows or osx.
