I'm single for over 10 years now and today dating is a huge effort, so I gave it up. Not sure if it still make sense. Even outside in real life you can't meet anyone, because a smartphone is more important than any lucky coincidence. Even on the job. I just made it to one single boink with a colleague on a supermarket toilet 4 years ago. And seriously there is nothing to brag about it! It felt desperate. I mean making love, when it smells like post bowel movements is not that hot as you may expect. Anyway she was hot and somehow worth it. Unfortunately the pandemic separated us and she was not the brightest candle on the cake.

I had a recent date. I bought her flowers and she asked me back to her apartment for coffee. After a few minutes she said "Give me 5 minutes then follow me into the bedroom". I did as I was told.
I walked into the bedroom and she was naked on the bed.
"This is for the flowers" she whispered.
"Haven't you got a vase?" I said

 

For our first Valentines Day date, I booked the same table that we had on our very first date.

I'm approaching 30yo, in my early 20s, I dated a bunch of women. Usually, I'd be hanging with three to five of them each year. But after getting rejected and ghosted so many times for no reason, I finally decided to quit looking. I can't afford the therapy sessions I need, and I can't afford the girls, especially now that I'm trying to save money and get in shape. This whole topic is a bit traumatic for me, so if anyone reading this has gone through something similar, I'm sorry, and I get you. Let's try to focus on what matters. Maybe, just maybe, one day it will work and it won't be such a hellish torture. Who knows.

A female friend recently pointed out to me that Gen Z don't sleep with each other. They go after the millennials.

 

The common ground between women and men is sex.

Some women look tempting so that they shoot their sperm cell onto their egg cell and new life is created, lust, the sex drive and orgasm is a successful trick of nature so that human life on earth does not die out.

If you need someone who likes you and looks forward to seeing you when you come home, buy a dog.

Some women unconsciously (the power of the subconscious) look for the future father, protector and breadwinner of the child, if they are unlucky and look good, they are the one who chooses the female to mate with them.

Sometimes (very rarely) partners find each other who get on well together and sometimes stay together for life because they both benefit from it.

Some men go to prostitutes, the oldest trade in the world, put a few bucks on the table and let themselves be pampered.
Be careful that they don't catch any sexually transmitted diseases.

Some relationships with a woman end very badly and sometimes you lose your possessions. The criminal woman is sent ahead by scammers (Venus trap model) to get your money and possessions.

Please remember that most suffering is caused by false expectations and views.

 

The last line prompted me write my own experience with the girls. When I was 17-ish, I had a relationship with couple of girls, one at a time. In both instances they approached me and I accepted to form a relationship. They both wanted me nail them something I wasn't prepared to do as it does not align with my goals in life and my morality. After many instances where they opened up to me and I refused or just walked away, as soon as they realize they won't be getting from me what they desire, relationship ended fairly quickly.

After a while, I came across this German girl. She was 15-ish, I was 19. I wasn't looking for any relationship or romance but when I looked at her, I couldn't look away. She noticed, and everytime we cross paths, she would smile at me, want me to approach her, which is a weird thing to do in my culture. Smiling at the boys you are not acquainted with. She left me with no choice but to ignore her. She got pissed off, and made sure that I know what she thinks of me which is essentially a loser. We still cross paths and every time she looks at me, she's like WoW! I want that kinda expression and I swiftly look the other way insinuating how low i think of her.

What I'm trying to say that there may be artificial qualities in a person, looks, grace, sense etc that anyone may fall for, but they are abstract and have no bearing on a successful relationship.

I'm 25 now and all this time I have come to realize that the only formula for successful relationship with girls is to go in full exploit mode. Use them, dump them and move on to the next. Desiring anything more like real love or affection and you'll always end up with a broken heart. Of course, I'm not insinuating that all girls are like that, that's mathematically impossible but the good looking ones are usually like that and if there are any girls who are different, I'm yet to meet one.

As you said, false expectations lead to very bad outcomes.

 

(male) musicians are too much romantic and sensible for dating women, so just have a one night show with women and get in love with other men. It's easier and you "automatically have double chances to succed on saturday night". Be easy, be open.

 

This reminds me that GenZ, or basically before 30, have problems I don't as an outdated boomer. And without updates, kinda like Windows 7

It sounds like dating has been tough, and sometimes the best moments come from unexpected places. It can be frustrating when real-life connections feel harder to make, but don’t lose hope—things can change when you least expect it!

 

Been with biological women and trans women. Have to say I get along way better with trans girls although I like both equally. Dating in the traditional sense is a rather antiquated concept anymore, IMO.

 

For me it's a trust thing and it's not that I inherently do not trust women, I just trust women to be women. If that makes any sense.
