About 10 minutes away in Seewen is the largest automated musical instrument museum in the world. I been there a number of times, taking visitors there when they come to see us. It's pretty cool. Ear protection is a must as it gets flukking loud depending upon which room that you're in.

Actually that's exactly the first thing I considered, but I personally find it a little crass to speculate on such sensitive matters without any actual information. The facepalm seems unnecessary.

Anyway, I hope it's something benign and they haven't succumb to the unnecessary horrors of that situation.

 

@Auen Fred You may not know this, but my family comes from Germany , and I live in Silesia, where three cultures overlap: Polish, German and Czech. We have always lived here in harmony, but now there is a war in Ukraine, and everything is fcked up.

 

I was gonna mention that but thought that you pipe in.

 

I mean, the war is what killed good old RARBG. They had staff members on both sides of the lines too. When you're living every day worrying about drones or ballistic missiles coming in, I think your website is the last thing on your mind.

 

I can tell you I miss it.
