Hey there,
i try to open my Windows FL24 Project on a OSX in FL24
Plugins are installed.

The Plugins which are NOT installed, are skipped perfectly = Project loads.
The Plugins which ARE installed and recognized by FL, sometimes crash the loading progress (Spinning wheel)
Mostly it´s Sylenth1.

Then i need to rescan the plugins, load another project and then directly open my actual project.
Then the project loads fine.

The thing is, i use Sylenth 1 as VST and VST3 plugin in this project.
Does FL on Mac have some problems to separate the VST and VST3 Plugins?
On windows this works fine.

I had an issue very similar to yours, cant remember now what vst was.
I used the VST version and I discover FL Studio was trying to load the VST3 instead and crashes
I had to manually delete the VST3 version from my system, than the project loads perfectly

 

First thing, just move Sylenth out of those directories. Don't delete it yet, just move it for now. You need to include more info, like if your Sylenth is a legit copy. And then What MacOS version you are using, and CPU type (intel or Apple Silicon). How are you Codesigning plugins, and what firewall you are using can also be helpful.

i need to trial & Error a bit more.

so i come from a cr**ed S1 Version WIN, to a Demo Version MAC i want to buy. So Sylenth1 on Mac should be the newest version
OSX is the newest 15.3 also, FL 24 newest Version. On a Macbook Pro 2021 with M1 Pro
Firewall is Lulu ^^But i "opened her" ^^:D

Codesigning? I heard about that and also saw this commands sometimes. Seems to be necessary with keyed plugins right?

i try to play a bit with deleting VST Versions, or i need to Replace all Sylenth 1 Versions to the same VST Version.
but ja, i think FL has some problems to separate them. There is also a button in the plugin Scanner for that. To separate VST and VST3 Versions of a plugin, or to make them the same.
I´m not so sure about that.

But from what i can say until now.
Going Legit, with legit Plugins... Guuuuys thats really hard work with a lot headache. ^^

 

I don't use Sylenth1/FL - If there's no immediate and trivial fix, I'd try saving my patches as presets on Windows, remove Sylenth1 from the project, copy the presets over to Mac, load the project on Mac, add Sylenth1 back, load presets.

Wanna report, that everything works
I don´t know why, but there was ONE Sylenth1 instance as "bridged".
Don´t know why. This caused the crash in the loading proecess.
I Bought Sylenth1 via the Rent to own plan, replaced all the keyed versions and the project loads up fine everytime

Going to OSX with a legit Software feels good. I´m very productive, because i force myself to use the less tools i have now, and im more productive than ever
