cubase 5 mbox2

    im trying to record a mic in cubase 5 throw a mbox2 it records but on play back the recording is distorted
    vsti's sound fine any one know haw i can solve this problem......

    pc i assume? check asio buffer settings or buffer settings in mbox software. id use asio4all. could be you're recording too hot also. hope this helps.

    thanks IL try the buffer settings and see wot happens the recording level is fine as wen i change back to my sound card it plays with no distortion it just wont play back on the mbox
