Can a cracked Kontakt 5 coexist with Kontakt 8 bobdule ?

    Hello, I am trying to run old spitfire albion librairies (loegria redux for ex and they are shown in demo mode in K8)

    can I install an old version of kontakt ?

    I installed a portable K6 release and it's working fine ! I loaded the old spitfire albion without any issue !

    if a portable version is made poorly it can take more memory or have bugs, but for well made portable versions there's no disadvantages, other than upgrading to new non-portable versions of the software might not work.

    no idea what the cons of a portable version are

    but why the hell kontakt 8 load so much slower
