Yeah bro, pic says a lot... but hmmm, wtf does it say ? Kids behind a cyclone fence don't have iphones or have iphones and are not allowed to use apps ? Or that there is no app that takes your kids behind a cyclone fence ? I don't get behind it. Please enlighten me *yes*

@lowpass, i think is just simply children need to socialize when playing and interact with each other,
that´s what i think anyway :mates:
Off course technology is part of our evolution , but Albert is right at some point

Yeah i agree generally but does that picture really encourage kids not to use iphone apps or does it do exactly the opposite ? Is that playground appealing anyway ? Sorry, i cannot find your interpretation in that picture. And Albert Einstein was right at most points. Sometimes he mentioned that god doesn't throw dice. He said it concerning Heisenbergs indeterminacy principle. And what did we learn ? Even Albert Einstein was able to fail. I have two sons. I'd never come up with the idea of forbidding them to use an iphone or even an android phone. And i do not see them isolating. And i like them to assimilate. I very well know that a lot of people do not agree with me. But i like my kids to assimilate and i like my kids to be on top of the headway. That's my way to go and i hope that i do not fail completely with my education (i mostly do not forbid my kids anything) though i see the risks of that. But i did anytime have to make a decision. And i made my decision. I always worry about that but this thread, sorry, is simply a cliche.

It's just a smart ironic picture. The way I see it it's supposed I make you reflect that the simple and highly important human interaction is simply not available in an app. Awesome. Well played, Evorax. I'll save it.

My interpretation of the picture is just my interpretation,
same pictures\paintings\songs have different meanings for different people based on life experiences\way of thinking and seeing the world \culture etc,
i´m not saying that having an iphone is bad and children should not use it,( i wish i had one when i was young to learn the guitar, tuner\metronome\recorder etc in one device, but probably i wounld´t develope a good ear..) dont take me wrong,
it´s just based on the way i see the world\society nowadays specially in the place\culture i live. I just see human interaction as an important thing.

please do not get ME wrong. I see human interaction as an important thing as well. But cliches never did help in human history. And what we see here is just something redundant. All people thinking are aware of that and those not thinking won't be aware of it because of that bad and really misunderstanding example. If that picture is really that thing, we all think that it should be. It's badly photographed and leads to misunderstandings. What the fuck should be good in kids plaing in a concrete desert behind a cyclone fence ?

Actually there is no evidence Einstein ever said this. The quote magically appeared on the internet likely around 2012 and is itself likely a reiteration of another faux quote from the movie "Powder". It is also not found in the 550+ page book "The Ultimate Quotable Einstein" published by Princeton University Press.

"When one finds a quote supposedly spoken by a respected historical figure on the internet, question thy source" -Mytia

Coming from a scientific background, I always am a little bothered when I see these made up quotes that people have attached to some famous figure to give their opinion more authority.

as a man with scientific background you should have no doubt that Einstein never did accept the quantum theory. And the quote "god doesn't throw dice" or "doesn't play dice" is not from 2012. Nor is it a internet hoax. Actually he said it in a conversation with William Hermanns in 1943. Hermanns wrote that down in a book. He also mentioned it in a letter to Max Born in 1926 and at several other occasions. Even Hawking referred to that quote. Sorry man but there is no need to have a scientific background to know that. But the chief thing is that you said anything. Complete nonsense but anyway anything.

You asked me above what about that picture... you seemed a bit confused... but you don't have to take everything so literally. This guy made it clear:
