    The problem with any snare whatsoever is that when you play or program it, you end up losing some of the cowbell.

    So... more cowbell please!!!!

    Not really, I don't look at it that way. We just have a unique, albeit strange, way of loving ourselves. It has to do with how our brains trick us (read: delusion) to prevent us from immediately self-destructing. It's the will to live. Everyone believes they are smart, their taste is epic, and every choice they make is the best. Until someone casually points something out; "Yo, the snare is shite," and then reality hits.

    Until I started recording my own music, I never really took any notice of the snare drum in songs when growing up.

    But snares make or break songs for me now.

    And snares with annoying rings do my head in lol
