In 2022, World Trade of goods reached an approximate value of 24.36 trillion dollars ($ 24360000000000)

What is your share of this money monthly through music from your international audiences?

no one makes money from music anymore, even pro producers make so little, its not what it used to be.

The only income generated was by following the investments made to create a vinyl record in collaboration with several artists, or by doing mixes or mastering for clients, and it's the same in the sense that the initial investment in hardware, plug-ins, etc., etc., is not reimbursed.

Service rents don't pay for themselves and never will.

my present and future investment, it's a passion as they say personally I couldn't care less but I really have a hard time with these services that promise so much success for so little click and if I can come back I'm talking mainly about the big services, Tunecore, Distrokid, Spotify, SoundCloud etc etc.

Music is sad since it is mediatized and has become a product of pure consumption, at least when we sold our vinyls with our team we were in contact with many real enthusiasts of the genre and the material and they supported us, but these are two worlds, the old and the new that are clashing, when will AI select the best songs for our playlist in our iPod. When will we have an AI that mixes at parties and plays tracks that surprise everyone on the dancefloor?

Long live the old format, even if it's so expensive I've never had so much fun going to a vinyl convention with lots of young people and old hands, compared with the seminars on streaming and digital distribution, which tasted rancid and undrinkable.

I make money on my job to pay for my music expenses. Last month I made $7 from my music but my expenses are roughly $100 just for keeping things running and financing the necessary self employment to not be a criminal to the tax authority by making $7. If you're not famous your best case scenario is probably to run a studio to record people that don't make money from their music to live of of it.

I remember in the early 90s spending each month easy 100-200 on vinyl & traveling to all the record shops! Now they ask wheres the free download! Im afraid the internet killed the music star.

If you are not famous/popular already, people don't even want it for free (they already have their algorithmically produced playlists to listen to).

PS: I also remember in the nineties me and my friends looking for newer stuff to listen to, going to local shows by local musicians playing their own music. And we actually bought (and sold, as I was also playing) things (t-shirts, tapes, cds, tickets).

PS 2: on the other hand, now we have access to so much tech in our virtual studios that I am ok being a bedroom music star lol (as people suck in general, I prefer spending my time with Vitals, Zebras, Divas and so on).

PS 3: and sister site was not here in the nineties. Holy f**k!!!!

    How is this possible?

1- Electricity is produced by private and public companies and they receive money from people for every kilowatt.
2- Plugins and instruments are made by developers and craftsmen and they receive money from people to sell it.
3- The studios are designed and made by engineers, bricklayers, hardhats, plasterers, roofers, surveyors, etc. and they receive money for it.

But when it comes to musicians and music producers, no one pays for their works and products. Why has a constructive thinking not been made for this part of the economy?

Having been in the industry for. many many many years i will say this in 2025 if your making Music to make money pickings are slim.do it because you love it and if someone else digs it well thats a bonus. did i get. rich that. depends on how you look at it. I made alot of money i was happy and traveling the world i enjoyed it like it was my last day on earth everyday so that when im on my deathbed their will be no regrets no tears of. oh i never got to do this or that. so did i make money. yes do i have money. no but i had the time of my life and I still love music and making it. if your looking to get rich in these times you prolly have a better chance at winning the Lottery then selling your music.

The world of music is designed to be slave to survive. If you become a slave, something may come, but if you are not a slave, you will experience a hard time.

I can somehow imagine your next song or composition.
    I could be wrong.
    Why don't you enlighten us?

Unfortunately, there is a bitter reality about the economy that cannot be ignored at all:

People's public opinion is that the more time we go, the better the prosperity and economic status of the general public. Because technology progresses and this technology provides more money and prosperity for all people.

That's exactly the problem. This way of thinking is completely unreal and unjustified.

Technology provides money and capital only for its owners, and ordinary people do not get anything economically. Because technology owners do not allow ordinary people. Every profit from technology goes directly into the pockets of its owners.

To achieve the prosperous prosperity and economic situation, we also must all be owners. Owners of sth ...:shalom:
