Modern interpretation of cinematic composition is futile. Everything is wrong.

I have no enmity toward you and your favorite music. I am very happy that people enjoy making music. My intention was to help. If you don't mind my presence, let me add something to your thread.
We have genre and style in music. Genre is a general term that refers to the similarities in music and we have another thing called style that refers to the artist's preferences and his vision and how he works.
A genre of music in itself is not a good or bad thing. The problem is in the art styles. Most art styles in music genres are inherently wrong. What I mean by wrong is that the music maker in these genres does things randomly and without any knowledge, and the final result will definitely be disappointing. Producing without a purpose does not make someone a good artist. Many things are necessary for success.

Well done. Very good mix balance, good timbral variety, nice lows that occasionally can be impressive (as they should in a piece like this) and a broad but not distracting stereo picture. An 8 out of 10 for me. A couple of points off because i expected some surprise and i didn't get it. I also expected at least one "meaner" moment to counter off the melodic parts but it's all too lyrical and epic for its own good hehe. I guess this is your style so it's fine by me. Keep it up and good luck with your work mate. Hope you get a big break if you haven't already.

@Incontro, it is presumptuous of you to assume intent or knowledge of someone and their work without knowing a thing about them. There is nothing helpful in comments like "extremely humdrum, insipid, and boring" or "everything is wrong". Blanket critiques like these, topped by condescending remarks, are purely malicious. Specific, constructive feedback is what helps - and across three pieces of my music, you have offered precisely none.

I take good note of the need for a surprise, and I’ll definitely keep your suggestion for a ‘meaner’ moment in mind for future compositions. I understand the effectiveness of a bit more contrast to offset the lyrical, epic parts. I’ll aim to explore these elements further.
