I am installing Maschine 3 (Mac) and I keep getting the message that the installer wants to modify apps (I think)...is this for the standalone application or is it for the Audio Units too. I only want the Audio Unit, and will be getting rid of the standalone application

 

stating exact release name would be helpfull....
or do you really talk about a legit NI installer ?

you may need an exorcism. Ghosts in the machine is a very real problem in the modern world. Suggest wearing garlic while installing any new software, it will keep people from bothering you and its considered sexy in eastern europe.

You can look inside installer files and see what it is actually going to payload. Pre and Post install scripts, content, directory structure, etc.

It's also helpful for fixing "missing presets" that often can happen. They are actually in the installer but get put into the wrong place on your system. By looking at them like this, you can see where they are really installed and then move them to the right place. They will let you export files out of the installer.
