S1 will only look for licences in that location, make sure to label it correctly "License Store" not "LICENSE STORE"

So there's an awesome script/extension for Studio One called "Navigation Essentials", it allows some extremely useful possibilities:

They are beyond normal "marcos", he has actually coded these macros to be possible in Studio One. They weren't before.

It's free, but it doesn't work with the R2R version of Studio One -- When you drag&drop the file into Studio One as instructed it gives you an error that says something about not having a valid digital signature. I looked it up and i saw in the comments section of his youtube video that the extension wont work with cracked versions of S1.

Just wondering if anybody has the skills to get it to work on the R2R S1?

you can install it manually.
make a folder called "navigationessentials" in C:\Program Files\PreSonus\Studio One 6\Extensions.

extract the installer content with 7zip. no need of the signature.xml file
go in the menu Studio One/ Studio One install select installed content/Navigation Essentials and then activate.



go in the macro menu and select Navigation essential pack.


it seems to be installed without any signature alert.
all is openable/extractable with 7zip

I didn't know you could extract Presonus install files with 7zip

 

Can you share these extracted files? Because I attempted to use 7z, and winrar to extract the files from the extension, and both fail to open the archive. I've attached the script below.


Either they've changed the archival method for the script, or maybe there's a step missing in your instruction, here's error I get:

 

the version 1.4.1 use another package than 1.2.0
7zip don't take it
and it say unvalid digital signature error from a cracked license.

but it install well if you use the original.exe with the prime license when trial is expired.
you can still replace the exe by the fixed one.
also backup the keygened user license first
C:\ProgramData\PreSonus\Studio One 6
C:\Users\bobdu\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 6

or register again from studioapp6.pro.license
it will rescan all the plugins at launch, but it works.
that shit need a valid user registration to install. but the fix load it after this.

Same as you, I can't install thé analogique consoles, Brit api etc. Always thé same error with licence. S1v6 on windows.
I just need retro mix légendes and vu meter

 

C:\ProgramData\PreSonus\Extensions
Delete that "presonus.vumeter.win" and install again.
Hope it helps.

I always have LICENCE problems

 

I don't understand it properly, no matter what I do I can't install the navigation essentials unfortunately.
could someone help me ?

I have installed the latest s1 version from the sister site.
Do I have to uninstall it and install a legit version for this to work?

 

years later, still struggling to activate ctc-1 with s1 6.6.2 r2r

 

Maybe your problem Installing/activating is already solved , still I´d like to share my experience:

I´m on SO 6.5.0 r2r , wanted to try SO 6.6.1 , so I installed paralell to existing 6.5.0 r2r.
I´ve had many version paralell before ( the whole SO-4 series ) , so no problems ,I thought.

What I didn´t notice , was that the 6.6.1 version was probably n o t an r2r-release,
there was no keygen in the So 6.6.1 download, so I thought , : -well - I´ll use the keygen from 6.5.0 r2r.
That was my first error.
Result: the Presonus addons would not activate, no matter what I tried.

The 6.6.1 release created a new main application licensefile, so installed addons from 6.5.0 do not activate
because "Generated licenses are linked to the license of main application."

Learned : 1/ Always use the keygen provided with the download
2/ Stay with one release group
3/ when you generate Licenses for the main app (SO) , the associated Addon-licenses will ONLY work, explicit, for THIS main app(SO)
4/ Maybe its no longer a good idea having multiple versions of SO installed

It could be , that having muliple versions of SO installed ( even if from same group/releaser, and in seperate directories) could cause trouble. Especially with the activating of addons/extensions.
Because, -as i reverted to 6.5.0 , my addons had been deactivated there.

So I deleted all licenses in :
C:\ProgramData\PreSonus\License Store
C:\Users\yourName\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 6\License Store
Then created new licenses for main app and addons. Now i could activate the addons.

The keygen-readme says basiclly the same, still ,-hope it helps someone
please correct me if I´m wrong somewhere.

EDIT: Studio One addon-files in format *.install , can be dropped on mainapp-exe (SO) , or onto Studio One start-screen. No need to unzip.
