Would you say there have been considerable updates to these plugins since? I am not up to date on this.

Bloom certainly looks interesting though, and I'd like to try it if it gets released.

 

I just explained how you can compare this junk with professionally tuned rooms and gear in the millions that producers I know use and tested soothe 2 lol, but you missed it I guess,

Let me remind the knuckle heads to sent money on Lok plugins cause they cant get them free on Macs, Gulfs might be worth $200 but at list price, in other words it should be sold for $125 and less from time to time, the only reason these plugins are hyped up is cause they are ilok protected and ilok knows what to do to developers who dont pay them and many dont, but those who do will do so for SUCKERS (maybe other of us at one time) who have to have what you cant get on the sister site lol and you should thank iLok for what you got from the sister site lol

 

I would not say considerable since they are still on v1.x but there have definitely been OEM updates since that last 'release'. I am not really certain how relevant those plugins really are these days since so many more look/run alikes have been released in the interim.

It is a Fact that you cant tell the difference with these plugins unless you have a treated-tuned room with very good a/b monitor system, im not talking about Yamaha MS10s either, at least based on what they are claiming their plugins do, and the developer knows most people do NOT have access to a PROFESSIONALLY treated=TUNED AUDIO ROOM and no one wil be able to tell, and by the time you can afford a REAL AUDIO Control room treated and all there are real plugins for 500€ and up that you will hear the things they re claiming SOOTHE2 does lol and soothe 2., well, its one in a crowd, pick your color GUI etc, its ok, I prefer GULFOS in the real audio world.,

So if any plugin at 200€, soothe is literally worth if at all 80€ max, but with competition now, eh, 35€,

and we are arguing about what, music? cause the sonic quality above the average is needed only in contents of sound tracks with a real orchestra or 96K plus orchestral samples eh, if its music just grab baby audio smooth or Waves anything is enough, if you want we can get more into it but I think oeksound will be butt hurt by the end of this thread, if not out of business.

What I think is the audio plugin market is so saturated with tons of plugins of all kind, there's absolutely no need to cry about a few non cracked ones. What's available without taking iLok-ed plugins into consideration, is more than enough to make anything you want and even what you don't want.

 

Im having trouble understanding your rant, but i think you are trying to say you cant hear a difference between soothe and baby audio, unless you have a near perfect, calibrated room with excellent monitors?? LOL, cmon. I can hear the difference on my laptop. I also happen to have a calibrated room with excellent monitors (not NS-10s), and can hear the difference there as well of course. Regardless, there are plenty of options nowadays, whatever clicks and works for you is all that matters.

For a start nobody is arguing with you about oeksound being overpriced.

I find it's a glorified EQ with too much latency! & waste off money.

like I said, we are arguing about something neither of us have the gear to test it against in the pro level audio world (online) maybe end result of something to fix but then who knows how long it takes and its more then its worth the trouble, so ..as for my own curiosity I mean I can, I did and I was upset about the price and hype, the developers are very clever creating an attractive app that if it was (K) free on the sister site I think it would rank 50/50 against waves equator or another plugin in its league., Gulfos is def sonically realible compared.. just saying its a very tricky thing to compare, nothing on YouTube and other online sources helps, in the end its about the music.

 

That's all this thread is though.

Some of these were already done, and not even the first iLok'd Mac plugins which have been. When the "Big Wave" happened; they appeared all at once, but that could have been weeks or months worth of work.
