Saw this recommended by somebody in a recent thread.. a really juicy synth. Whoever it was, I owe them a drink.

serum/phaseplant/vital/massive like gui with diva/repro/legend/whatever schematics

 

I use only PRESETS. Omnisphere and Falcon have Pristine sound. My main VST, though, is Hypersonic 2. Sound design does not interest me at all.

 

2025? Falcon.

 

If Omnisphere modernized its synth & fx section to be more in line with synths like Vital/Serum/PhasePlant/Pigments it would be the easiest choice in the world. As it is I only reluctantly have to choose Omnisphere here...

 

Serum... Although, it really doesn't matter - just pick one and learn it inside out.

 

If just one synth and it has to be VST, Serum.
Any software synth: Sytrus.
In rl tho i don't use either, Bitwig alone has everything i need synthwise. But i'd use Sytrus if it was a VST, definitely.

not a juno fan at all but there some chords played with the right pad which are outstanding and not reproduceable 1/1 with others...same goes with other stuff.

so i play reverse card and say analog lab with pigments integrated

nice gui's, easy on cpu, goud sounding and the most important, fast as hell.

i hate slow synth's. they absolutely kill the workflow. even if they sound wonderful. i never use them.

The only VSTi/Standalone I use the most and to think how old this thing is still running.....
I present you : Native Instruments FM7 from Windows XP all the way to Windows 11 still going....

Simple, effective, easy to change and make your own sounds and still sounds great mixed together with the Edirol Super Quartet Piano ( Bright Piano) it adds some nice background for the pads on the FM7.
