hey guys, today I installed bobdule 8.1.0 kontakt on my windows 11 and everything installed without an issue ,then i used the tool to add libraries, nothing comes up in kontakt even after restarting the app, pc reboot, re-adding from regedit etc. Also checked SNPID from service center and the nicnt from library folder.. what could i have done wrong?

 

check the path location writen into json files:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products
.
replace ¥ by \ for ContentDir path

 

so I opened up json files of each library with notepad and there was only
{"ContentDir":"

so I added path to look like

{"ContentDir":"C:\\Users\\Public\\Kontakt Library\\Chris Hein - Ensemble Strings","ContentVersion":"1.0.0"}

which made it appear on kontakt again! thank you so much!!

but now it says no native acess.exe file was found in program files\native instruments! t.t

I have a question, if I have the kontakt library add tool by R2R will it add the library without an .ninct file or would I have to make one?

 

You d have to make one.

 

After you have added the library and it doesnt show up kontakt...close kontakt..delete the json file and restart kontakt..when kontakt opens it will write the json file with the correct libray path.
This works for me...2nd time it writes the path in the json file..but you couls also manualy write the library path like you did as Bob Dule told you.

 

I'm having a similar issue since the release of Kontakt 8. Mine is usually solved by deleting the database after I add or delete a library. Wish there was a better fix but that is better than nothing.
