Omnisphere for Mac....where to begin?

    Hello

    Just to clarify, I'm not asking for any warez or anything, just need some advice.

    I can't install the update directly, so which version of Omnisphere do I need to install first before I can update to the latest one?

    Which Omnisphere do you have and which version did you want to update?

    I just reinstalled legit Mac version one day this week, with STEAM already on my external drive. I used these versions, no other files, and it worked perfect:

    SOFTWARE Windows 2.8.7c 92.7 MB
    Mac 2.8.7c 168.5 MB
    PATCH LIBRARY Mac/Win 2.8.3c 81.7 MB
    SOUNDSOURCE LIBRARY Mac/Win 2.6.2c

    you need original Omnisphere 2 v2.0.3d release by R2R/Dynamics/Proper (8 DVDs), activate from there,
    only then you can do any further updates, and still you may need to reactivate those again

    So I have Omnisphere v2.0.3d and also the v2.8.5d update by Moria. The first version has instructions that say you need to crack/patch it using the 2048 keygen. But I’m wondering—before I go ahead and install anything—if I could just install the original version and then directly install the v2.8.5d update, or if it’d mess things up.

    What I’m not sure about is if Moria already cracked the plugin in the v2.8.5d release, or if I still need to crack the original version before installing the update. Has anyone tried this yet? Would love to hear your thoughts before I go ahead with it.

    Why is Logic Pro giving me the error "An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable Please quit and restart Logic Pro" when I using Omnisphere?

    It is doing it both with the v2.0.3d and the version v2.8.5d as well.

    I looked up this error message and it is apparently something to do with the fact it isn't apple silicon compatible, but on the Omnisphere website, it says it is compatible.
