All you really need to do is open one of your pre-existing skins files and the elements are all there to be changed or built upon. The Black or White GUI is a good starting point. The buttons PNG is in there and can have textures, shadows, lighting added. The "dial" png has all positions for the dial and can be colored, have outer rings added, inner graphics need to be turned a hair for each dial in sequence so they visibly turn. The LED VU lights can be easily recolored. If you want to change the background behind the presets just add that in PS and the presets project on top. And the GUI text, Group text and Preset Divider colors can be changed in the Json file via Notepad. Someone posted a little kit earlier that has many skins, alternate buttons and dials pngs and changeable elements. It's a great starting point to. Have fun! I'm kinda addicted right now. LOL. I have around 52 skins in my folder.

Try to insert the folder 'Flexus' open... not zipped

 

It's because there's a folder in the zip file. Remove the folder and rezip the files without the folder.

1st Step:

For every day use, open the "retro_folder.7z" and to overwrite the following *.png files
in your "retro folder" with the same files from the "retro_folder.7z"

C:\ProgramData\reFX\nexus\Assets\retro

logos.png
retro_hdd.png
retro_hdd_delete.png
retro_hdd_load.png
retro_hdd_save.png

you can easily "rename your original" files to *.png.off

Nexus will no longer load them as *.off but you have the originals in your folder.

This is necessary, so that the NEW Floppy-Disc Load/Safe/Delete icons and the complete new design can be loaded!
