First of all, Merry Christmas to all and I hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday !

Now, I know there are a few threads in this forum in regards to my exact issue and I feel like a complete idiot not being a troubleshoot the issue myself. So, for the experienced here, I am very sorry.

Anyhow, the issue is pretty simple. After installing Kontakt Portable 7.10.1 (win-vkdanilov, Windows 11) and its respective KTP Library Manager (7.8.1), I tried adding a library through the Library Manager app mentioned earlier and once I tried to load the instrument (Porphyra Hybrid 1.0.0), it gave me the following error : "This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed". I also tried to add it through Kontakt 7 itself and by dropping the file, but to no avail ; same error.

If it helps, this library contains its own NICNT file.

Again, I am sorry to have to be here cluttering the space, but I really want to understand how it works.

Thank you, and have a nice day :winker: !

    Hello
Works with Kontakt FULL or Kontakt Player v8.0.1 or later!

Lord... I could have simply clicked on the library's website :deep_facepalm:. Thank you for your answer! I'll try another one that is compatible tomorrow and see if it works.

    EDIT : it does!

Hi, Can you please confirm how you got these to load? I have a library and I get the same error and don't understand how to install it. I had versions 7.8.1 and also 6.0.3.

    Thanks

sounds like you need to update your version(s) of Kontakt to run the libraries in question....

So, due to wording I want to be clear, are you running Kontakt 7 or Kontakt 8 on macOS? And if not legit, whose release? and which version? and how are you adding libraries?
