Is k’d Nexus 2 content loadable on k’d Nexus 5?

I’m also curious to know if k’d presets would work in the paid 5.

 

I haven't installed v5

I have a huge Nexus v4.5.17 Content library over 200 GB

Is Nexus v5 content library completely different?
I saw Nexus 5 factory library is like 11GB
If I have this can I copy over & use my Nexus v4 content (I mean when it asks I would say NO to overwrite files)
I have crazy amounts of Expansions I just don't know if Nexus v5 can play the v4 Expansions

 

nexus 5 opens all previous expansion from version 4 and 5,

Installed Nexus 5 on Mac thinking it would overwrite the non-working version 3 I have. Opening it up in a new project works fine, but opening up an old project loads the old version that doesn't work. Any solution for this?

 

Hello everyone, the first post... after years of lurking I decided to subscribe

I just discovered Nexus 5 and there's something I want to know and I haven't been able to find any guidance on it.

As far as you know, is it possible to assign different layers to different tracks (Studio One in my case)?
To make me understand better is what happens with Stylus or Kontakt that allow multioutput.
To achieve this I open several instances of Nexus 5 by putting in solo a single layer but if there was the possibility of multioutput it would certainly be much more convenient.

whats the id for vintage synths 3? it shows under folders and without the original icon.

edit: fixed. thank you samsum for the list with the id's.



name the svg image file to Vintage_Synths_3.svg and put it to C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Roaming\reFX\cloud\cache\images

Version 5.1.6 seems to still work good. Well, for me, I don't need N2 skins, I've always used the standard factory white one before.

Alterboy also responded later to say: Seems it's already fixed. They've checked it with the fixed 5.1.8. Works good now. So 5.1.9 works too.
I'll stick with 5.1.6 for the time being, though))

You will probably find like I did I had duplicate Expansions named differently. Firstly save DjRavix image he kindly shared. These are what I deleted highlighted in Blue from both NKS and Presets [Folders]: Please Back-up first


Also some kind man called Magic John has shared all the:
'Nexus 2 - 3rd Party Preset Collection (10.000+)' on sister site
but this will fill the Folders section back up in Nexus 5

Hi everybody.
I am on Win 10 pro (64bit), and using Ableton Live 12.1.5. PC rig: 12600k @4.9GHz, 32GB Kingston Fury @6000Mhz, 40cl, MSI RTX 3070 Ventus 2,
ASUS Z690 Prime-A, Focusrite 6i6 Gen2 audio interface.

I have 2 issues with Nexus 5.1.9

First, when I load it up and play it with the PC keyboard a note on the init preset it sounds ok. But when I change to the next preset "1 Finger Elysium" it freezes and u cant do anything anymore.

Second issue: If I load up the Nexus plugin or change to another preset I can't play a D note (on PC keyboard key S) until I click somewhere on the Ableton Live window. It's frustrating if u try to switch presets.

And it happens with the 64-bit VST2 and VST3 plugins.

Does anyone experience the same issues?

hey guys,
In Nexus 5, presets are displayed and clicking on them produces sound. However, as soon as I play, this image will pop up. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Equipment: Macbookpro M1 Sonoma14.5
DAW: FLstudio (crash), Studio one (crash), Nuendo (pop-up image)

 

Install the Factory extension from version N4 (Factory Presets)

 

Would you mind sharing the fix to this?
