So next week ill get a tablet, reason being is because my eyes get tired from reading a book and i tend to study at night. Im just looking for two books any sites that provide these e-books ? I found a website but its pretty much dead (avaxhome)

 

Hey avax still gets the job done in other areas. They have a good comic book area as well as Warez other sites don't have.
For most books all you have to do is Google search the name of the e-book followed by.. "pdf". For example, "Harry Potter ebook pdf". And any search result link you see that ends in ". pdf" should be good to go.

Almost every torrent site has a good ebook section too so there's always that.

Another one of my gotos for gfx "Heroturko" also has a ebook section so maybe you could give them a go too. Hope this helps ya.

I have them already in hardcopy but i want them in pdf so i can use them in my future tablet lol

I've noticed over the years that Avaxhome's address changes periodically, and as such wonder either if IVX went looking for books at a non-fucnctional address, or if IVX is actually annoyed about the limited filehost choices at Avaxhome.

If the address is the issue, IVX might want to try avaxhm.com/ebooks/music. Just now, on a lark, I surfed to avaxhm.com/ebooks/music/pages/100. Clicking on two random articles on page 100, I found active links respectively for "Exploring U2: Is This Rock 'n' Roll?: Essays on the Music, Work, and Influence of U2" and "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!: The Beatles, Beatlemania, and the Music that Changed the World".

That said, neither link was hosted by a filehost I currently use, and for THAT reason alone, I now very rarely download ebooks from Avaxhome. In fact, the most prominent host in the Avaxhome ebook section these days seems to be keep2share, with filepost dominating the Avaxhome comic book section. Since these filehosts are far from popular on my favorite audio soft sites--namely audioz, newmagesy and pluginaudio--I no longer load up on books at Avaxhome.

If IVX is still jonesing, though, one solid if unexciting option might be Usenet, specifically alt.binaries.e-book.technical. Since several Usenet providers offer free introductory packages of 10 GB or 30 GB (provided you cancel your account within a week or two, before the automatic billing kicks in), IVX could load up his (her?) tablet with relative ease at low/no cost. To window shop Usenet's ebook and other offerings, I use the search engines at nzbindex.nl and/or binsearch.info.

USMC ... 3 miles in 18 minutes !!!? Hell ... the USAF gives you 1/2 of that and you can walk fast to get a passing score ! hahahah
