I still haven't been able to find out what exactly is the problem of members left comments in this thread with me. I say that an artist needs money like any other job, but the members disagree with me. The reason for these objections is really unknown to me.
Everyone loves Santa Claus because of his gifts. If you don't give someone a gift once, everyone will be unhappy with it.

I like to be friendly with everyone, but I think you don't like it very much. You do not add anything special. If you pay attention to your own posts, then you will know who is trolling here.

 

You probably never will it can be a spectrum thing. Some introspection could possibly be of value... empathy is involved. Empathy by you for what people are saying TO YOU, not the other way around.

In the making of the film, we have a producer and many other factors. The producer deals with financial and logistics issues and the rest do their own work. Actors sign a contract with the producer and start working, and in the end they get their money from the producer.
Actors do not enter the economic part of film production because artists are not interested in economics. I am coming to the conclusion that the musicians are not interested in the economy too and are waiting for a producer or investor to be found and gives them money, otherwise they will not do anything to advance their own economy because they do not have an economic goal.

IF you really need money, and money is important to an immediate situation, like you have a starving wife and kids to support, or keep a roof over their heads. Are you telling me that in such a scenario, you would say, "sorry folks, I love you and all, but we all have to starve for a while until I start making some money out of music".

REALLY? No, most sane and caring human beings would find something else to do that generates income.

There's being delusional, and shouting "Simon, please please don't kill my dream","pay me money" ... then there's reality/sanity!

Putting the Santa statement to one side. You seem to be arguing for Full Time well paid work to do art (art as defined and enjoyed by you, and perhaps only you) a full time job where you have complete creative controll and no deadlines to produce anything or nothing, and be able to deliver whatever you like anytime you like and get payed each month for the rest of your life, guaranteed, regarless of output or quality.... BIG Surprise... No.

But if it does happen and you do find such a job please do let me know because I want in.

And No. This is not a paradox no matter how many bakers you throw in the mix.... non of this is paradoxical, not even for the bakers.

few developed countries get to this level, Sweden (early 2000's) comes to mind..
