Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

I just got done with a new track called “killer kitty”.

I would love any advice on mixing, mastering and arrangement.

Thank you in advanced for your time and ears!

You have this synth part in your first two breakdowns that I would say needs some attention. The first instance is jarring, and then seemingly random or offbeat; and then it is gone without accomplishing anything or developing further until much later. I don't think that part is doing your track any favors. In certain spots, it's fine; but that is when it is just pieces of it, pushed further back into the mix. I'd probably leave it there, but mute the entire channel and see what happens; maybe replace it completely.

Along the same lines, the first measure of your intro is sort of jarring and a few too many channels/sounds right away. Particularly for Soundcloud. People frequently lose the first beat on there, for whatever reason. But with 3 or 4 samples layered up, it's abrupt and people could hear it as a "mistake".

I would focus more on the arrangement than the mix or the mastering, especially those few spots that are normally "breakdowns". You have a little white noise in the intro, and it's not a big deal; but it sounds like it is almost being pumped by a sidechained compressor or something. It's only the segment right before your first full volume kick drum.

Kick sounds like a wet towel slap. No impact, lows are lost in the bass. The main synth is rather harsh. Overall too much 7-ish kHz. The instruments clash in frequencies between each other, most noticeable in the aforementioned region and in the sub-120. Feels noticeably overcompressed as well.

Hey, did you mix it on cheap gaming headphones by any chance?
Because on mine it actually sounds great, way better than on a proper sound system.

Yes, I thought to myself, what’s the best way to make wet towels slap on my kick? Got it! Cheap gamer headphones! Mission accomplished!

Need more layering on the arrangement, I guess. Overall, it sounds good, just don't focus on your mixing & mastering, its already good.
